Fashion Hacks for Balling on a Budget

There were many tough lessons I had to learn when I went away to college. Before I share this one, I’ll go ahead and #checkmyprivledge. I know that I’m so incredibly lucky to have parents who financially support me ( and my shopping habits). However, the second I touched down in Madison, Wisconsin freshman year, I was pretty much on my own when it came to funding my shopping addiction. I’m definitely glad my parents did this since lessons on saving money are incredibly important. But also because they can be fun!

Latest Jacket Obsessions

Being from Los Angeles, I used to relish in the fact that I almost never needed to wear a jacket. Each year, however, it gets colder and colder (for longer and longer!), and with that comes the need to find some new jacket staples for my closet. Below are some of my favorite, affordable jacket options available right now.

All the Best PJ Sets

For years the only pajamas I ever wore were oversized t-shirts that came into my possession in ways I could not even tell you. If I already owned them, why would I spend money on anything else. That was until I developed a newfound obsession for matching pajama sets.

Aritzia Haul

If I could shop at one store for the rest of my life, it would no question be Artizia. I’ve loved their clothes forever and am always refreshing the home page to get the good stuff right when it comes out. Their new November stock is looking unreal, so here are a few new pieces we think need to be added to everyone’s carts.

The Slippers You Need

I don’t know about you, but I have been living in my slippers all of quarantine. They’re just the only shoe that makes sense these days, especially with the weather cooling down. My feet have been freezing! I have multiple pairs of slippers because I sometimes wear them outdoors. Bonus tip: If you blow-dry your slippers before ever wearing them, they stay soft and fluffy longer! Below are some of my favorite slippers at the moment.

The Sweatsuits You Need This Winter

It’s no question I’m a sucker for a sweatsuit. There is literally nothing more I want to put on my body than a crewneck with some matching baggy sweatpants. I think it is completely socially acceptable to leave the house wearing that. In fact, I did today! When the sweatsuit is matching, the outfit becomes so much more elevated. Especially now that fall is transitioning into winter (RIP), I find myself constantly wanting to purchase more lounge wear pieces. I also have a high key shopping addiction so it is getting really hard to control myself on that front.
