Hair Masks for Some Much Needed Hydration

written by NOA DIAMOND. January 4th, 2021

Let me start this off my saying my scalp has never been dryer this Winter. I’m guessing it has something to do with the fact that I used to wash my hair once a week and now I wash it 4-5 times a week because of my exercise schedule (I’ll never understand how people don’t wash their hair immediately after sweating). I also traveled to a new climate over the Holiday, so that might have an added drying affect as well.

While I am loving my Olaplex Bond Smoother, this product only gets used on the mid section and ends of your hair. I can’t take the itchy scalp anymore so naturally I headed to the internet to find all the best hair masks out there to revitalize my poor scalp.

Here is what I found:

Living Proof Dry Scalp Treatment $32

A leave-in scalp treatment that delivers instant hydration and lasting relief from dry scalp flaking, itching and irritation.

Amika Soulfood Nourishing Hair Mask $28

A daily or weekly luxurious, deep conditioning treatment that completely restores and repairs dry, damaged hair.

Ouai Scalp and Body Scrub $38

A weekly detox powered by gently exfoliating sugar crystals to cleanse and soften skin and a dose of probiotics to leave your skin’s natural defenses on high alert.

Briogeo Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-Exfoliating Shampoo $42

Detoxifies, exfoliates, soothes, and balances the scalp for optimal scalp health. (Not a hair mask).

Drunk Elephant Happy Scalp Scrub $36

A supercharged AHA/BHA acid blend that breaks down and dissolves dead skin cells and styling-product buildup, while biodegradable, gentle exfoliating beads sweep them away.

It’s a 10 Miracle Hair Mask $45

A simple-to-use, conditioning treatment made to enhance softness and smoothness.
