If you don’t consider yourself to be a big podcast person, I am here to get you on board. Do you ever get sick of your music, or maybe you’re not in the mood, or not able to watch tv? Enter podcasts! The world is busy in 2020 and podcasts provide people with the opportunity to soak up more content while being able to multitask. Whether you’re driving, walking, exercising, cooking, or at work, it is so easy to fit in an episode throughout your day. In a world where we take in most of our content visually, podcasts have completely changed the way we consume content. And if you’re thinking there isn’t a podcast out there for you, you’re wrong. Spotify has over 500,000 podcasts for you to listen to. I am sometimes overwhelmed by the options! I wish I had more hours in the day to listen to new podcasts.
Below are the podcasts that make me want to drive around in circles after I’ve reached my destination so I can keep listening. I also encourage you to explore the podcast section on Spotify or Apple podcasts until you find something that piques your interest.

The Bitch Bible: Jackie Schimmel prides herself on being the bitch that says the thing everyone is thinking, but only a bitch would say. She is unfiltered, entirely unapologetic, and beyond hilarious. She definitely stirs the pot and garners major controversy. But I love her and you will too.

Call Her Daddy: A classic that mainly explores dating and sex in the most explicit way. You will learn how to master the “daddy game” and either be laughing or gasping the entire time. Miley Cyrus is interviewed on a recent episode and if you aren’t interested in joining the daddy gang, I still recommend listening to that episode.

Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe: Former Bachelor contestant Kaitlyn Bristowe interviews a variety of guests from psychics to former bachelor contestants. She uses her platform to get real with her audience and create a space that empowers women (and men). Each episode brings something new and it never gets old.

Chicks in the Office: If you’re not great at following along with pop culture, start listening to Chicks in the Office. Ria and Fran will tell you all need to know about celebrity breakups, tv show recaps, and all the drama you didn’t know you needed each week.

Armchair Expert: This is one of my favorites by far. Dax Shepard (married to Kristen Bell) interviews a new “expert” on each episode in the most honest, deep, and engaging way. From Ashton Kutcher to Seth Rogan, you’re going to learn so much about your favorite celebrities and the things they are doing in the world that you wouldn’t know otherwise.

Root of Evil: A story more than 70 years in the making, this limited series podcast explores the haunting story of the unsolved Black Dahlia Murder. With interviews and audio clips from the real people who are suspected to be involved in the horrific murder, this podcast left chills down my spine. I listened to all eight episodes in two days. If you’re not a fan of murder and horror, skip this one.

How I Built This: Guy Raz interviews the founders of all your favorite companies to hear the true stories of how their companies got to where they are today. Whether you’re a budding entrepreneur or have no interest in the business world, this podcast is exciting for all. Some of my favorite episodes are on Bumble, Wikipedia, and Airbnb.
