Most of us don’t think twice about putting on deodorant every morning. For the people in smelling distance of you, that’s fantastic. For your health, possibly not so much. Multiple health concerns have come out about the aluminum in most deodorants that’s included to clog your pores and hamper the dreaded underarm sweat. While this is great in concept, this heavy metal has been linked to different cancers and even Alzheimer’s. The first time I purchased Native deodorant, I was perusing around the drugstore and couldn’t help but add it to my basket after seeing its chic, simple packaging. This clean exterior totally embodies it’s pure, not to mention short, ingredient list of Coconut Oil, Baking Soda, Ozokerite (earth wax), Tapioca Starch and Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (derivative of coconut oil). It’s coconut-vanilla scent is my favorite, not to mention it’s 100% aluminium and paraben- free.
Like every other product from this brand, this deodorant is crowd-pleaser. The silky gel roll on smells like fresh eucalyptus and moisturizes your skin while masking any body odor. It’s also free of aluminium, parabens, alcohol, baking soda and residue. Name something cleaner…. I’ll wait.

A former culprit of the toxic deodorant, Dove has created an aluminum free-line for healthier, smoother underarms. It provides 24-hour odor protection and comes in multiple scents including cucumber green tea and vanilla lavender.
