Summer Hair Accessories

It is just me or have the prices on hats, and hair accessories in general, gone up dramatically recently? I love wearing hats and adding a clip or headband to my outfits, but I just wish they weren’t so damn expensive. I’m just not willing to spend an insane amount on something that goes on my head. Below is a list of some more “affordable” hats and hair accessories out there right now that I am absolutely loving. 

SLIP Skinnie Scrunchie 6 Pack $39

I love a good scrunchie. I have super thick hair, so regular ponytails often break when I use them. They also damage your hair as well. These Slip scrunchies are made with slipsick, which is the same silk used in their silk pillowcases. If you are looking to up your scrunchie game, look no further. 

SLIP Silk Headband The Knot $69

Headbands are so in right now and I think they are here to stay this time. I’m someone who has always appreciated a good headband and who is always looking for a new one to add my collection. I think this headband is super trendy and could instantly spruce up any average outfit. 

LACK OF COLOR Spencer Wide Brim Fedora $89

This hat will never go out of style and is such a reasonable price for the quality. This is my next purchase.

LACK OF COLOR Wave Bucket Hat in Aqua Terry $99

This is probably the only bucket hat I’ve seen that I actually like. I love the colors it comes in and I think using a suede material makes it look so much more expensive. 

ZIMMERMANN Printed Silk-twill Scarf $110

I love the idea of using a scarf in my hair to wrap around a high or low pony. This scarf comes in three colors and looks so soft. I also like the trend of wrapping a scarf around a purse, so you can totally buy this scarf with the intention of using it for a number of different accessorizing ideas. 

LACK OF COLOR Azure Lolita $159

This is one of the most beautiful and unique hats I’ve come across that isn’t unbelievably expensive. This is a statement piece that will instantly bring an outfit to a whole new level. I think I might need this one.
